Text

As used in this chapter:

(1)(1)(a) "Financial transaction card" means any card, code, or other means of access to a person's account issued to a person that allows the person to obtain, purchase, or receive any of the following:
(1)(a)(i) goods;
(1)(a)(ii) services;
(1)(a)(iii) money; or
(1)(a)(iv) anything else of value.
(1)(b) "Financial transaction card" includes:
(1)(b)(i) a credit card;
(1)(b)(ii) a credit plate;
(1)(b)(iii) a bank services card;
(1)(b)(iv) a banking card;
(1)(b)(v) a check guarantee card;
(1)(b)(vi) a debit card;
(1)(b)(vii) a telephone credit card; and
(1)(b)(viii) a device for access as defined in Section 7-16a-102.
(2)"Receipt" means any document related to the transaction of business provided to a person that uses a financial transaction card.
