§ 13-34-102 — Division responsibilities.
Utah·Title 13 Commerce and Trade·Ch. 13-34 Utah Postsecondary School and State Authorization Act·Part 13-34-1 General Provisions
(1)The division shall:
(1)(a) exercise its enforcement powers in accordance with Chapter 2, Division of Consumer Protection, and this chapter;
(1)(b) make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, to:
(1)(b)(i) establish the content of a registration statement required under this chapter;
(1)(b)(ii) establish a process for reviewing and responding to complaints the division receives in accordance with this chapter; and
(1)(b)(iii) establish a graduated fee structure in accordance with Section 63J-1-504 for filing a registration statement;
(1)(c) issue a registration certificate or state authorization certificate to a postsecondary school upon the division's receipt and approval of a qualifying registration statement;
