Art. 7835. DIRECTOR'S BOND AND OATH. Within ten days after their appointment or election, or as soon as practicable thereafter, the directors shall each make a good and sufficient bond for five thousand dollars payable to their district, conditioned upon the faithful performance of their duties, to be approved by the commissioners court of the county in which the director resides, and such bond and a copy of the order approving same shall be filed with the county clerk of the county in which the largest part of the district is situated. Such clerk shall record and index the same in the deed records in the manner provided for recording and indexing deeds.
