Sec. 56.124. CHANGE IN PLANS WITH ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES.

(a)If the board decides that changes or additions in the preliminary survey would be of advantage to the district but would necessitate issuing additional bonds of the district, it shall certify the need for additional bond authorization and file the certification with maps and profiles prepared by the district engineer showing the changes and their estimated cost in the district office.
(b)At the first regular meeting after the documents are filed, the board shall give notice of an election to determine whether or not the changes and improvements should be made and shall order the election held within the time and the returns made as provided in the original election.
