Sec. 51.028. MULTI-COUNTY DISTRICT: NOTICE OF HEARING.

(a)When a petition is filed, the commission shall give notice of an application in the manner provided in Section 49.011 and may conduct a hearing on the application if the commission determines that a hearing is necessary under that section.
(b)Further, the notice shall be posted at the courthouse door, on the bulletin board used for posting legal notices, in each county in which the district may be located.
(c)The notice shall be published in one or more newspapers with general circulation in the area of the proposed district.
