Sec. 26.357. STANDARDS AND RULES.

(a)Standards and rules concerning underground storage tanks adopted by the commission under this subchapter must be at least as stringent as the federal requirements under Title VI of the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments of 1984 (42 U.S.C. Section 6901 et seq.).
(b)The commission may not impose standards or rules more stringent than the federal requirements unless the commission determines that more stringent standards or rules are necessary to protect human health or the environment.
