Sec. 181.902. AUTHORITY OF GENERAL-LAW MUNICIPALITY TO PREVENT USE OR WASTE OF UTILITY COMMODITY OR SERVICE.

(a)The governing body of a general-law municipality may adopt an ordinance that prevents the free or unauthorized use or the waste of a commodity or service furnished by a utility that uses the streets and public grounds of the municipality.
(b)In this section, "utility" has the meaning assigned to the term by Section 181.901 .
