Sec. 181.043. CONSENT REQUIRED IN MUNICIPALITY.
(a)An electric utility may exercise authority under Section 181.042 in a municipality with the consent of and subject to the direction of the governing body of the municipality.
(b)Subsection (a) does not apply to a municipal electric utility exercising authority under Section 181.042 in its municipal territory.
