Sec. 14.207. PRODUCTION OF OUT-OF-STATE RECORDS.

(a)A regulatory authority may require, by order or subpoena served on a public utility, the production, at the time and place in this state that the regulatory authority designates, of any books, accounts, papers, or records kept by that public utility outside this state or, if ordered by the commission, verified copies of the books, accounts, papers, or records.
(b)A public utility that fails or refuses to comply with an order or subpoena under this section violates this title.
