Sec. 463.311. RESULTS OF ELECTION; ORDER.

(a)The authority is confirmed if a majority of the votes received in each county favor the proposition.
(b)If the authority continues, the interim executive committee shall record the results in its minutes and adopt an order:
(1)declaring that the creation of the authority is confirmed;
(2)stating the date of the election;
(3)containing the proposition; and
(4)showing the number of votes cast for or against the proposition in each county.
(c)A certified copy of the order shall be filed with the Texas Department of Transportation and the comptroller.
(d)If the authority does not continue, the interim executive committee shall enter an order declaring that the result of votes cast at the election is that the authority ceases in its entirety.
