Sec. 453.154. RESULTS OF ELECTION.

(a)If a majority of the votes received at the election favor the proposition, the board shall:
(1)record the result in its minutes; and
(2)adopt an order requiring implementation of the mass transit plan.
(b)If a majority of the votes received at the election do not favor the proposition, the board shall:
(1)record in its minutes an order declaring the result; and
(2)dissolve the transit department as soon as practicable.
(c)The board shall file a certified copy of an order under this section with the Texas Department of Transportation, with the comptroller, and in the deed records of the county. SUBCHAPTER E. SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS
