Sec. 451.661. RESULTS OF ELECTION; ORDER.

(a)The board shall declare the results of the election separately by each unit of election. In each unit of election in which a majority of the votes received favor the proposition, the authority is confirmed and continues in each of those units, except that if the authority is not confirmed in the alternate municipality, the authority ceases in every unit of election. In each unit of election in which a majority of the votes received do not favor the confirmation of the authority, the authority ceases.
(b)If the authority continues, the board shall record the results in its minutes and adopt an order:
(1)declaring that the creation of the authority is confirmed;
(2)describing the territory of the authority;
(3)stating the date of the election
