Sec. 451.657. COMMISSIONERS COURT TO DESIGNATE ELECTION AREAS.

(a)Before the 31st day after the date a commissioners court receives a notice under Section 451.656 (3), the commissioners court by order shall designate not more than five election areas in the unincorporated area of the county. The designated areas must include all of the unincorporated area of that county proposed to be included in the authority.
(b)To the extent practicable, each designated area must coincide with a boundary of a county election precinct so that no county election precinct is divided between two designated areas.
