Sec. 228.112. FEASIBILITY STUDY BY MUNICIPALITY, COUNTY, OR PRIVATE GROUP.

(a)One or more municipalities, one or more counties, a combination of municipalities and counties, or a private group or combination of individuals in this state may pay all or part of the expenses of studying the cost and feasibility and any other expenses relating to:
(1)the preparation and issuance of toll revenue bonds for the construction of a proposed toll project or system;
(2)the improvement, extension, or expansion of an existing project or system; or
(3)the use of private participation under Subchapter E , Chapter 223 .
(b)Money spent under Subsection (a) for a proposed toll project or system is reimbursable, with the consent of the commission, to the person paying the expenses out of the proceeds fro
