Sec. 8845.103. EMINENT DOMAIN.
(a)The district may exercise the power of eminent domain to acquire a fee simple or other interest in property in the district if the property interest is necessary to the exercise of the authority conferred by this chapter.
(b)The district must exercise the power of eminent domain in the manner provided by Chapter 21 , Property Code, but the district is not required to deposit in the trial court money or a bond as provided by Section 21.021 (a), Property Code.
