Sec. 6906.113. CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS.

(a)The district may award a construction contract that requires an expenditure of more than $5,000 only after publication of notice to bidders once each week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the district.

(b)The notice is sufficient if it states:

(1)the time and place for opening the bids;

(2)the general nature of the work to be done;

(3)the material, equipment, or supplies to be purchased; and

(4)where the terms of bidding and copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained.
