Sec. 6902.204. ELECTION FOR BONDS PAYABLE FROM PROPERTY TAXES.
(a)The district may not issue bonds, except refunding bonds, payable wholly or partly from property taxes unless the issuance of the bonds is authorized by a majority of the district voters at an election.
(b)The district may issue bonds not payable wholly or partly from property taxes without an election.
(c)A bond election may be called by the board on a motion of the board.
(d)A resolution calling a bond election must state:
(1)the time and each place for holding the election;
(2)the purpose for which the bonds are to be issued;
(3)the amount of the bonds;
(4)the form of the ballot; and
(5)other matters considered necessary or advisable by the board.
