Sec. 6902.117. EMINENT DOMAIN.

(a)To carry out a power conferred by this chapter, the district may exercise the power of eminent domain to acquire the fee simple title to land or any other interest in land and other property and easements, including water rights, land, or any interest in land needed for water fields, water wells, or reservoir and dam and flood easements above the probable high water line around any reservoirs inside or outside the district.
(b)The district must exercise the power of eminent domain in the manner provided by Chapter 21 , Property Code.
(c)The board shall determine the amount and the type of the interest in land, other property, and easements to be acquired.
