Sec. 5007.212. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.

(a)The port commission shall appoint an executive director of the authority. The port commission shall prescribe the duties and compensation of the executive director. The port commission may delegate to the executive director full authority to manage and operate the affairs of the authority subject only to orders of the port commission.
(b)The port commission shall delegate to the executive director the authority to employ all persons necessary for the proper handling of the business and operation of the authority and to determine the compensation to be paid to all employees, other than the executive director or the chief audit executive employed under Section 5007.226 (c).
(c)The executive director shall execute a bond for $10,000 conditioned on the
