Sec. 5007.208. FILING OF FINANCIAL STATEMENT BY PORT COMMISSIONERS.

(a)A port commissioner shall file the financial statement required of state officers under Subchapter B , Chapter 572 , Government Code, with:
(1)the authority; and
(2)the Texas Ethics Commission.
(b)Subchapter B , Chapter 572 , Government Code:
(1)applies to a port commissioner subject to this section as if the port commissioner were a state officer; and
(2)governs the contents of, timeliness of filing, public inspection of, and civil and criminal penalties relating to a statement filed under this section.
