Sec. 3840.204. ABOLISHING SALES AND USE TAX.

(a)Except as provided by Subsection (b), the board, with the consent of the governing body of the City of Pearland, may abolish the sales and use tax without an election.
(b)The board may not abolish the sales and use tax if the district has outstanding debt secured by the tax.
