Sec. 1121.113. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES.

(a)If the district provides care or treatment to a sick or injured person who is not an inhabitant of Cameron County, the board shall require the county, municipality, or public hospital located outside of the district and in which the person is an inhabitant to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of that person as provided by Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code.
(b)The board shall require the sheriff of Cameron County to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person who is confined in a jail facility of Cameron County and is not a resident of the district.
(c)On behalf of the district, the board may contract with the state or federal government for that government to reimburse the district fo
