Sec. 1100.115. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES.

(a)The board shall require the sheriff of Randall County or the police chief of a municipality located in Randall County, as appropriate, to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person confined in a jail facility of Randall County or a municipality located in Randall County who is not a district resident.
(b)A person confined in a jail facility of Randall County or a municipality located in Randall County, as appropriate, is not considered a district resident unless the person meets the qualifications for residency notwithstanding the confinement, the length of confinement, or the facts surrounding the confinement.
