Sec. 1071.116. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES.

(a)The board shall require a county, municipality, or public hospital located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a sick or injured person for whom that county, municipality, or public hospital has an obligation to provide care, as provided by Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code.
(b)The board shall seek reimbursement under Article 104.002 , Code of Criminal Procedure, for the district's care and treatment of a person who is confined in an Ochiltree County jail facility and is not a district resident.
