Sec. 1071.114. JOINT ADMINISTRATION OR DELIVERY OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES.

(a)To provide joint administration or delivery of health care services, the district may contract with, affiliate with, or enter into another arrangement with:
(1)a managed care system;
(2)a preferred provider organization;
(3)a health maintenance organization;
(4)another provider of an alternative health care or delivery system; or
(5)a private hospital.
(b)The district may spend district money to establish and maintain a partnership, corporation, or other entity involved in the delivery of health care services.
