Sec. 1064.116. SALE OR LEASE OF HOSPITAL.

(a)In this section, "long-term lease" means a lease for a term that exceeds 10 years.
(b)The board may not sell a hospital owned and operated by the district, including real property, or lease the hospital under a long-term lease that relinquishes control of the hospital to the lessee unless:
(1)the agreement for the sale or lease of the hospital provides for indigent care in the district;
(2)in the event of a sale of the hospital, the board has published notice of the proposed sale twice in a newspaper with general circulation in Moore County, with the first publication occurring not later than the 61st day before the date of the proposed sale, and the second publication occurring not earlier than the 30th day or later than the eighth day befo
