Sec. 1064.110. CONSTRUCTION AND PURCHASE CONTRACTS.

(a)A construction or purchase contract that involves the expenditure of more than the amount provided by Section 271.024 , Local Government Code, may be made only after advertising in the manner provided by Subchapter B , Chapter 271 , Local Government Code.

(b)Section 271.059 , Local Government Code, relating to performance and payment bonds, applies to construction contracts let by the district.
