Sec. 1061.116. CONTRACT FOR FACILITIES TO SUPPORT SURGICAL RESIDENCY PROGRAM.

(a)The board may contract with a state agency or public medical school, including the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, for the improvement and equipping of hospital facilities as necessary to support a surgical residency program.
(b)Notwithstanding other law, the state agency or medical school may enter into an agreement described by Subsection (a) and spend appropriated funds for that purpose.
