Sec. 1054.115. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICE.

(a)The board shall require a county, municipality, or public hospital located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county, municipality, or public hospital as provided by Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code.
(b)The board shall require the sheriff of a county or the police chief of a municipality to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person who is confined in a jail facility of the county or municipality and is not a resident of the district.
