Sec. 1035.253. GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION.
(a)The district may issue general obligation bonds only if the bonds are authorized by a majority of the district voters voting in an election called for that purpose and ordered by the board on its own motion.
(b)The election shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 1251 , Government Code.
