Sec. 1035.110. REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES.

(a)The board shall require a county, municipality, or public hospital located outside the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a sick or injured person of that county, municipality, or public hospital as provided by Chapter 61 , Health and Safety Code.
(b)The board shall require the sheriff of DeWitt County or the police chief of any municipality in the district to reimburse the district for the district's care and treatment of a person who is confined in a jail facility of DeWitt County or the municipality and is not a district resident. A prisoner in the DeWitt County jail or in a penal or police facility located in the district is not considered a district resident unless the person would meet the qualif
