Sec. 1002.155. ASSUMPTION OF DEBTS AND TAXES. If the district has outstanding debts or taxes, the proposition for assumption of its proportion of the debts or taxes by the territory if annexed shall also be submitted at the election. The annexed territory shall bear its pro rata part of all indebtedness or taxes that may be owed, contracted, or authorized by the district. SUBCHAPTER E. DISSOLUTION
