Sec. 1001.155. NOTICE OF RATIFICATION ELECTION.

(a)The governing body shall give notice of an election under Section 1001.154 by publishing once a week for two consecutive weeks a substantial copy of the election order in a newspaper with general circulation in:
(1)the district; and
(2)the territory proposed to be added to the district.
(b)The first publication of the notice must appear at least 35 days before the date of the election.
