Sec. 11.0272. PUBLIC FISHING AND SPECIAL EVENTS DRAWING; FEES.

(a)The department may conduct public drawings to select applicants for public fishing or other special events privileges. The department may charge each person who participates in the drawing a nonrefundable participation fee in addition to any fee for issuing a permit or fishing license. The participation fee shall be set by the commission in an amount sufficient to pay the costs of operating the drawing.
(b)The commission may approve participation fees, not to exceed $25 per species or event for each participant on an application, in drawings for special fishing or other special programs, packages, or events the costs of which exceed the costs of operating the drawing only if the receipts from fees charged are designated fo
