Sec. 651.155. FEE EXEMPTION FOR MILITARY SERVICE.

(a)On presentation to the commission of evidence as prescribed by the commission, a license holder or provisional license holder actively engaged in the military service of the United States is exempt from the payment of license fees for the duration of the holder's military service or from the amount of fees and for the time the commission considers advisable.
(b)The commission may not consider the period of military service in determining whether a funeral director's license or embalmer's license is revoked, suspended, or lapsed.
