Sec. 651.101. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR; BOND.

(a)The commission shall employ and supervise an executive director to manage the administrative affairs of the commission under this chapter. The commission shall determine the terms and conditions of the executive director's employment and set the executive director's salary at an amount not to exceed the maximum salary for the position as set in the General Appropriations Act. In the absence of an executive director, the commission may appoint an acting executive director.
(b)Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 285, Sec. 31(38).
(c)The commission may delegate the commissioners' duties to the executive director.
