Sec. 601.306. EMERGENCY SUSPENSION.

(a)The presiding officer of the advisory board shall appoint a three-member disciplinary panel consisting of advisory board members to determine whether a certificate should be temporarily suspended. (a-1) The disciplinary panel shall temporarily suspend the certificate of a certificate holder if the panel determines from the evidence or information presented to it that continued practice by the certificate holder would constitute a continuing threat to the public welfare.
(b)A certificate may be suspended under this section without notice or hearing on the complaint if:
(1)action is taken to initiate proceedings for a hearing before the advisory board simultaneously with the temporary suspension; and
(2)a hearing is held as soon as practicable under
