Sec. 601.201. MANDATORY TRAINING.

(a)The minimum standards of the advisory board for approval of a curriculum or an education program under Section 601.052 must include mandatory training guidelines for a person, other than a practitioner, medical radiologic technologist, registered nurse, or licensed physician assistant, who intentionally uses radiologic technology, including a person who does not hold a certificate issued under this chapter and who is performing a radiologic procedure at a hospital or under the direction of a practitioner, other than a dentist.
(b)The training program approved by the advisory board must contain an appropriate number of hours of education that must be completed before the person may perform a radiologic procedure.
