Sec. 2153.162. LICENSE AND REGISTRATION RENEWAL.

(a)A license or registration certificate holder may renew an unexpired license or registration by paying to the comptroller, before the expiration date of the license or registration, the required annual license or registration fee. An application for renewal must be made to the comptroller before December 1. A renewal application filed on or after December 1 but before the license or registration expires must be accompanied by a late fee of $50.
(b)A license or registration certificate holder may renew an expired license or registration under this subsection. If the license or registration has been expired for not more than 90 days, the person may renew the license or registration by paying to the comptroller a fee that is 1-1/2 times the
