Sec. 2001.205. MANUFACTURER'S LICENSE FEE.

(a)The commission by rule shall set the annual manufacturer's license fee in an amount reasonable to defray administrative costs.
(b)In addition to the annual license fee, the commission may require an additional fee in an amount necessary to defray the cost of a background investigation, including the inspection of manufacturing plants and locations. The commission by rule may establish the conditions and procedure for payment of the additional fee.
(c)The commission shall refund the fee for an initial or renewal manufacturer's license if the applicant requests withdrawal of the application before the license is issued or if the commission denies the application, except the commission may retain an amount not to exceed the lesser of 50 percent
