Sec. 1954.256. APPROVAL OF ASBESTOS TRAINING; RECORD OF ATTENDEES.

(a)The executive commissioner shall adopt an asbestos training approval plan to approve the training required for a person to be licensed or registered under this chapter. In adopting the plan, the executive commissioner shall adopt by reference the Model Accreditation Plan developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
(b)The executive commissioner may establish other requirements or change the number, design, or content of the plan adopted under Subsection (a) as the executive commissioner determines desirable, provided that the plan is at least as comprehensive and stringent as the Model Accreditation Plan.
