Sec. 1701.3526. CONTINUING EDUCATION ON INCIDENT RESPONSE AND COMMAND.
(a)The commission shall require a peace officer whose duties involve the supervision of officers in an incident response to complete, as part of the continuing education programs under Section 1701.351 (a), an advanced incident response and command course, in collaboration with the Texas Division of Emergency Management, as determined by commission rule.
(b)The exemption under Section 1701.351 (d) does not apply to the training required by Subsection (a).
