ADVISORY COMMITTEES. The board may appoint advisory committees as it considers necessary. An advisory committee shall serve without compensation or reimbursement and is subject to Section 2110.008 , Government Code. BOARD COMMITTEES.

(a)The board may create committees to assist the board in exercising its powers and duties.
(b)The presiding officer of the board shall appoint the members of the committees.
