Sec. 1101.366. INACTIVE LICENSE: BROKER.

(a)The commission may place on inactive status the license of a broker if the broker:
(1)is not acting as a broker;
(2)is not sponsoring a sales agent; and
(3)submits a written application to the commission before the expiration date of the broker's license.
(b)The commission may place on inactive status the license of a broker whose license has expired if the broker applies for inactive status on a form prescribed by the commission not later than six months after the expiration date of the broker's license.
(c)A broker applying for inactive status shall terminate the broker's association with each sales agent sponsored by the broker by giving written notice to each sales agent before the 30th day preceding the date the broker applies for inac
