Sec. 110.159. FEES.

(a)The council shall:
(1)charge and collect reasonable fees in amounts necessary to cover the costs of administering this chapter; and
(2)send all fees collected under this section to the department. (a-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), the council shall set fees for issuing or renewing a license in amounts designed to allow the department and the council to recover from the license holders all of the direct and indirect costs to the department and to the council in administering and enforcing this chapter.
(b)Fees charged and collected by the council under this section may include:
(1)sex offender treatment provider license and renewal fees;
(2)training fees;
(3)publication fees; and
(4)fees for providing continuing education and other services to sex offender
