Sec. 1051.355. INACTIVE STATUS.

(a)The board by rule shall establish a procedure by which a person who is registered under this subtitle may place the person's certificate of registration on inactive status. The person must apply for inactive status, on a form prescribed by the board, before the person's certificate of registration expires.
(b)A person whose certificate of registration is on inactive status must pay an annual renewal fee on a date and in a manner prescribed by board rule. The board shall prescribe the renewal fee under this subsection in an amount equal to the sum of:
(1)the amount determined by the board as reasonable and necessary to cover the costs of administering this section; and
(2)except as provided by Subsection (e), the additional amount required under Sectio
