Sec. 1051.305. RECIPROCITY.

(a)The board may waive any prerequisite to obtaining a certificate of registration under this subtitle for an applicant who holds a license or certificate of registration issued by another jurisdiction:
(1)that has licensing or registration requirements substantially equivalent to those of this state; or
(2)with which this state has a reciprocity agreement.
(b)The board may make an agreement, subject to the approval of the governor, with another state to allow for licensing by reciprocity.
(c)An applicant under this section must:
(1)apply in the same manner and form as any other applicant under this subtitle, except that the application must be accompanied by a fee in an amount set by the board as reasonable and necessary to cover the cost of processing an
