Sec. 1001.351. LICENSE OR REGISTRATION TERM AND RENEWAL.

(a)The board shall adopt rules providing for the renewal of a license or registration issued under this chapter. The rules must provide that a license or registration issued under this chapter is valid for a term of not less than two years.
(b)The board by rule may adopt a system under which licenses and registrations expire on various dates during the year. For the year in which the license or registration expiration date is changed, the board shall prorate license or registration fees on a monthly basis so that each license or registration holder pays only that portion of the license or registration fee that is allocable to the number of months during which the license or registration is valid.
