Sec. 81.093. DEPOSITIONS.
(a)In a matter pending for hearing before the commission or a division of the commission, the commission or an interested party may produce the testimony of a witness by written or oral deposition instead of compelling the personal attendance of the witness. For that purpose, the commission may issue a commission or other process necessary to take a deposition.
(b)The deposition shall be taken, to the extent applicable and to the greatest extent possible, in accordance with the provisions of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure relating to written and oral depositions.
