Sec. 43.123. REPORT REGARDING PLANNING STUDY AND REGULATORY PLAN.

(a)Before the 10th day before the date the first hearing required by Section 43.124 is held, the municipality must prepare a report regarding the proposed annexation of an area for limited purposes and make the report available to the public. The report must contain the results of the planning study conducted for the area in accordance with Subsection (c) and must contain the regulatory plan prepared for the area in accordance with Subsection (d).
(b)Notice of the availability of the report shall be published at least twice in a newspaper of general circulation in the area proposed to be annexed. The notice may not be smaller than one-quarter page of a standard-size or tabloid-size newspaper, and the headline on the notice
